I was fortunate enough to second shoot Emily and Adam’s wedding at Rivercrest Farm this April with my friend Hannah Cessna Photography, and it was just the most lovely marriage celebration. Emily and Adam, as well as their friends and family, are just so absolutely sweet and full of kindness (literally, the bridal party was so attentive to us and always made sure we had a drink or anything else we needed). And Rivercrest in the spring is so beautiful. There was a beautiful row of flowering trees along the entrance to the farm, and a new Highland Cow calf had just been born three days before. Rivercrest is nestled in the hills of Dover, Ohio and the barn overlooks grazing pasture for the animals. For the ceremony location, the guests were transported up to a higher hill, where an arch was set up overlooking the surrounding forest. It was a beautiful view. Back inside for the reception, the barn decor was so charming, and I loved the assorted china dinnerware which gave it such a unique, vintage feel. But hands down, my favorite portraits of the day were the ones we took in front of the white flowering trees. They are just absolutely stunning with the spring sun glowing over the fresh blossoms. Thank you Emily and Adam, for being amazing hosts and for welcoming us in to celebrate how special you two are. Can’t wait to see where marriage takes you together! Comments are closed.
