Katie & David's Black and Silver Winter Wedding at Kent State University Hotel | December 22, 2017 | Kent, OH
School yard bullies don't always end up being the bad guy. Sometimes they end up being one of your closest friends and standing beside you as you marry your best friend. Katie and her bridesmaids learned this early on in life. Two of her bridesmaids met Katie in elementary school when they "saved" her from a "bully", who ended up being another one of Katie's bridesmaids. In reality, Katie wasn't actually being bullied and wasn't in need of saving, but the girls struck up a friendship which has lasted all the way into adulthood. The Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center was a fitting location for Katie and David's December wedding celebration, as the bride and groom were alumni of the school and met while enrolled. The black and white bridal party hinted at a sleek, New York City vibe, where the two currently reside, while the silver accents paid homage to the winter season, as well as to Katie's mom who created all of the details for the wedding.
